Life in Tangos Arizona
I hope those folks are ready, cause sheriff Tango is riding tall into town. Gun on her side, tareser in hand, sitting tall in her SUV. ( Ya’ll take it from here I’m off to trail Days)

How are your knees? What is the side effect of MSM?

It's a supplement that helps with joints. It has been clinically tested.

Good luck with that MarkO

And I didn't notice that, Cyndee. Hope it all works out. And good with the second opinion.

the arthritis will come back if they clean it out. mine did and at a very fast rate. i'm beginning to think that even my day hiking days could be over. i'm in pain every sing day and limp after getting up from sitting. i can't believe that i have inherited this terrible disease that at 52 y/o has me limping around. thats why i feel my trail talk activities will be limited to social events.

Darn, that's bad news. But who knows anything can happen. Have you thought about holistic remedies??

I whacked my right knee on a concrete step 40 years ago and had a loose piece of the medial meniscus scoped out in '85.

Within a couple years cyst-type material grew in the knee.
According to the doctor that is a reaction to the intrusion.

For years staying active has kept things functional, though at least somewhat painful.

The dang thing really bothers me on long downhill hiking while uphill is not a problem.

I'm ALIVE!!!!
Just a short note to say I'm alive and missing you guys. I am getting into the groove here and hopefully soon I'll have more time to spend here. I just got my furniture 2 days ago and so I'm going through boxes and boxes. The BA$TARDS lost 4 boxes of my Grandmother's antique Limoges china! Damn them!

It is beautiful here and the people are great! I've already had a few funny things happen... the men's bathroom door fell off (I was NO WHERE NEAR IT I SWEAR!) which precipitated a trip to Prescott 2 hours round trip!

I hope all is well with you guys...carry on!

Stovey, nope, it was 70 today although it gets really cold at night (20's) but I'm snuggly in my home. (I do have an electric blanky so my bed is toasty when I get in)

I am currently repainting the A frame store, replacing all the doors and trim and putting up a privacy fence around the propane filling station to slow the wind down. I am also having all the toilets replaced too. It's going to be a huge improvement. Hopefully I'll also be putting in an irrigation system (probably wait for spring on that one). I have been very busy and trying to get most of the improvements done as soon as possible, I don't know how long the weather will be this great!

Sirpete, MY CABANA BOY!!! How's it going? How is your lovely bride?

Not here. Though I like it, the town is too small and it's a 70 mile drive to civilization. Though I am fairly close to southern Utah, if I'll ever get up there. I am thinking about becoming a full-time RVer and be based somewhere in southern AZ and then work camp during the summer and see the country. Work 20 hours a week and your site is free (and sometimes get a hourly wage too). I don't know yet. I have about 5-7 years to make up my mind. I don't know what I want to be when I grow up! LOL!!

You guys better show up out here Pete! I've read about your exploits (and have seen the pics) so I know you still hike! The Grand Canyon is waiting!!!!

Hey Tango, I was thinking of you earlier this week- a local nursery imported some succulents and cacti from a cactus farm somewhere in Az., and several of the plants were loaded with scopions! They captured as many as they could and are selling them as "pets."

Hey Lizs.

NA, I bought the KOA in Seligman exit 123 on I-40. About 70 miles from Flagstaff, Prescott and Kingman; sort of a devils triangle. ha ha ha

OMG! Did you buy one Treebait?
