Question- Panther Creek

“Hi -

Does anyone know about the 5.5 mile Panther Creek trail in northwest GA? Is there a place to drop a car to leave at the end of the trail? It looks like there is a recreation area at the start. Would this hike be appropriate for a group of relative novice hikers?

“some of the NC bunch will know that - Carlette's got some knowledge on the area for sure.

Keep the thread up around the first of the week - also try doing a search - there was a trip there a couple years ago - may find some info - or at least a link to the NFS and the local office.”
