They were discussing that Vermont is going to break a record for the least amount of snowfall for the month of November since they began keeping track. I blame Lyra as they had no problem with November snow in Vermont until she moved there.”

“Killington opened 11/23, but not with very much terrain. Evening temps by Saturday should allow NH & VT ski resorts to start making snow. I know a local mountain, Mount Sunapee is planning on opening up sometime next week. It's 55 degrees here. Let's hope for a snowy and cold winter!”

The very next winter, January '93 there was four feet of snow on the ground for a while.
And the next winter was a mofo as well.

Winter 1993 was the year of "The Perfect Storm", I think.

Although in January '90 we had 20 inches on top of 10 inches, back-to-back.
That was a hairy amount of snow to be plowing!
On my first pass I had a roll of snow over a yard tall with ripples going off into the woods like water.........go truck, go!!”

Sacco - I only moved last Tuesday, and I was sorting crap out before the move while FYAO was on. It's been a busy few weeks and continues to be so.

However, gmail has that annoying habit of adding any account address you've happened to reply to. I've beeyotched to her on several occasions that their are tons of peeps in my address book who I don't know.

So deciphering who and who not to invite was quite complicated. When I mentioned to her that Y2 was moving away that weekend, she nonchalantly said "What's his name again?" She then said "well invite him out to dinner with us".

Oh well. And we missed him at Hawk & Dove a few months ago.............maybe Y2 doesn't like my wife?”
