Lillmountaingirl and Greenmonkey

“Just met up with Lillmountaingirl and GreenMonkey in Damascus Virginia saturday evening, I know some of you know they were there at Trail Days and then headed back to Erwin TN to continue on the AT and finally made it back in to Damascus friday night and took a zero day Sat so I picked them up and catered them to my home where they had all the fixens of a 1 1/4 special cut T bone and Roasted corn on the cobb with Blueberry pie and Moose Tracks ice creme.
They both seemed well and in high spirits and will be moving on Sunday morning North Bound. These to can EAT and lovin the libations,heheh.........

“Yeah...I sure do remember hiking through that country and thinking about how hungry I was. Boy, I sure was hungry, DAMN I WAS HUNGRY. Without a doubt it was the hungriest I ever was on the whole trail. Heck, that was the hungriest I ever was in my life. They admitted me to the local hospital because I was so malnourished because no one would give me a meal. Somehow, through the grace of God, I made it and bear absolutely no grudge to all those southern Christians who saw me hungry and would not give me food. I am a better man for the experience.

Just kidding, Fridge, you're a good man and I appreciate what you did for those poor hiker folk.
