That Daks trip that Pennsy and Zac is talking about sounds awesome, but I don't think I can swing that. I have to take a huge test for work next week and I should be studying like crazy for it.”

“We'll have to see where they are after the 4th of July weekend. That should give us a good gauge. Worst case scenario we can go and pick them up for the party and then take them back afterwards :-)”

I told Spindle I could use a weekend of being inebriated. Although, this past Friday I was pretty damn close. Too many double margaritas. }:)”

Tentative dates are 8/18-20. Let me know if you're interested. If there's a small group then it may actually turn into a short bacpacking trip--I have a great spot in mind with an easy hike and a nice swimming hole.”

8/18 - 8/19 at Blue Rocks Campground

Site #87 (same site as last year--Holds 8 tents

$22/tent/night

Dogs are allowed but you must have proof that all shots are up to date and they must remain leashed at all times.

We will hike the Pulpit Rock/Pinacle loop. Anyone looking for a more strenuous hike is free to continue picking their way through the rocks. The trail goes about 1000 miles in either direction, give or take 100 miles.
