I took the same shot and would like to identify it better.

“That album on here is pretty old.
My new albums are not on this site yet. I have a few thousand photos from this summer at livedon.com in the gallery section.

That would be Beartooth Butte and Beartooth Lake. The Butte towers 1,600 feet over the lake at over 9,000 feet. It's where the Beauty lake trailhead starts.
The Butte is somtimes colored as an island of sedimentary rock in a sea of granite. It's one of the only butte's made up of those rocks in the Beartooths... along with Clay Butte (where the lookout tower is).”

“I have always liked your photos. You must really think about where you are going to take the shot and at which angle. For me, most of the time I just see somthing cool and snap. I need more patience.

(Wishing that I was not a broke college student so that I can by a decent camera)”
