WOW..Crash, don't know how your State Laws deal with STATE Workers Comp...but I know with Private Insurance you have to sign a separate "release".

I am trying to remember but a while back there was a legal case that involved this....(seriously) you might check with the State Bar help line....(try clarkhoward.com) I don't think accepting partial payment for claims means you are reliquishing your rights. When I get a release on Liability claims I get one for Property damage (real damages) and then there is the big one for Personal Injury (and punitive) it is separate and has to be notarized.

If you have any questions...e-mail me I can wander into the "legal section" and do a fly by question (relate it to an open case) and then you get FREE LEGAL ADVICE (techincally not free since you pay taxes to support it).

Good Luck

Crash, good to hear.

A hold for 5 days in 2007? That stinks. The funds should be there much faster.

Well, at least you're have some party money for the weekend. When's dinner?
