“WOW..Crash, don't know how your State Laws deal with STATE Workers Comp...but I know with Private Insurance you have to sign a separate "release".

I am trying to remember but a while back there was a legal case that involved this....(seriously) you might check with the State Bar help line....(try clarkhoward.com) I don't think accepting partial payment for claims means you are reliquishing your rights. When I get a release on Liability claims I get one for Property damage (real damages) and then there is the big one for Personal Injury (and punitive) it is separate and has to be notarized.
