Where The North Bounders At?View MessagesViewing posts 1 to 9 of 9 messages posted.
“Some friends of mine are going up to New Hampshire, about an hour north of Manchester, in late July or early August. When I told them about the concept of "Trail Magic" they got excited and said they'd love to do something like that but I didn't know if there would even be any thru hikers in the area at that time. Seems a little early to me. Does anybody know if there are any northbounders in that area in late July or early August?” 7:11:56 AM 7/10/06 “Can't give you numbers, but I've run into a bunch of 'em in New Hampshire around that time. You also get some South Bounders and maybe some flip floppers who are trying to spend the hottest months in New England.” 8:27:19 AM 7/10/06 “Journal entries on trailjournal.com might give you an idea.” 8:29:38 AM 7/10/06 “I ran into two north bounders in Vermont 4th of July weekend. I've also heard that there have already been a few finishers this year.” 8:33:13 AM 7/10/06 “All I know is it's dang hot on the GA/NC part of the AT right now.” 8:37:12 AM 7/10/06 “Just watch out for no good rounders! Bounders shouldn't be a problem.” 8:51:00 AM 7/10/06 “freaking milemonster was in MAINE by july” 10:34:28 AM 7/10/06 “...thus the trail name” 10:56:20 AM 7/10/06 “There always seem to be thruhikers in Hanover, NH right around that time...in fact, all summer long.” 2:31:16 PM 7/11/06
