Clean up needed in the baby aisle
As some of you know I have recently become a daddy, and now that my little girl is growing up and eating more foods I spend alot of time in the baby food section. So the other night in walmart in the baby section I saw it.....Freeze dried corn! Pretty much the same stuff that you will buy from just veggies, but alot cheaper.

That sell it as a snack for babies The walmart brand was like $2.50 and the gerber brand was $2.90.

I just thought I would share this with my fellow backpackers in case it has not been discovered yet.

Enjoy!!

congrats on the new kid...isn't parenthood grand?...i too have discovered some new, albeit disgusting, food things from being a new father...they have these small nets that you put vegetables in for toddlers to chew on so they get the nourishment of the veggies but don't risk choking by actually eating them...that just sounds nasty to me

This little find isn't in the baby section but in the "ethnic" section where all the Mexicanfood is. Nestles has powdered whole milk in the can there. Beats the crap out of the regular dry milk and tastes just like real milk.

I fed my kids frozen veggies. Frozen corn is cheap and the kids loved it as a snack. They loved frozen peas too. It was good practice picking up little pieces of cheerios, frozen corn, and frozen peas one at a time to eat.
