That is an official U. S. Navy ball cap worn by the sailors on the DDG 100, The USS Kidd.
I purchased the cap from the ship crew.
This ship is under construction right now and I'll be going on Sea Trials on it soon.
The hurricane symbol on the side is for hurricane Katrina, which almost sunk the ship under consruction while it was tied to the dock.
The 1943 on the other side refers to the original Kidd in WWII.
