Phil- It was a good week. I had a lot of fun, and thanks for taking us to that Mexican place. Having real food before all that freeze dried was great.”

Phil & Phil's Son - I never did get those straps of David's wrapped around the seat! The bus driver just would not cooperate! You were SO right about the Mosquito break @ Echo Valley! Grab that Deet! I still remember the headache I got from drinking my pop too fast at Happy Isles.. Awesome photo from the tunnel entrance David!

WindWalker - I'm always excited when I know you are going to be on the trip. Your photos are a treat! And so is your sense of humor! Was too funny as we all followed you around like little puppies at Cathedral lake as we thought you were looking for the perfect shot... Then, someone suggested that you were just trying to find a place to go potty! LOL Great hiking with you again!

Hodge - Great road trip again! You really captured the trip with your panorama at the top of Half Dome. I even made a copier salesman watch with me last week! Also, you really got some awesome sunsets at Cathedral Lake.

JVZ - You found some great shots of flowers and the sunset at Cathedral Lake. Also, a perfect shot of boo-boo peeking out of the tent!

Trekngirl & Guitgirl - Awesome picture of the rainbow at Mist Trail with the silhouette of Guitgirl! I laughed when I saw the cones in the trail pictures. We fondly called them "ball bearings" because if you stepped on one while walking that was what it felt like! I think that the marmot was smiling at you... Thanks for bringing Guitgirl and maybe we'll get together before next summer...”

When I think about doing another one I run into the same problems again; 1) 20 people is too many and who do I leave off. 2) By having "By Invitation Only" you don't get to meet new people and make new friends.
I tell ya it SUCKS having so many friends!

Back to this trip - How did you videos turn out? I think mine are pretty good, specially if you like rushing water.
I tried to e-mail one to myself at work, it didn't work. 8^(

“I guess Navi will have to plan 3 trips every summer. Take ten folks out for a week...then drop them off at the trailhead and refill your canister and take the next ten out for a week and so on. :) There you go Navi a three week backpacking trip!”

Maybe we can split the group. Half go one way and the other half the other way. We could meet in the middle and party at least one night. Or get several smaller permits entering at different trailheads. Then meet up on night 2 or so. That would work.

I didn't get any video due to not enough card space. Sorry. I know Sheila got a couple. Probably others to. I need to buy another card so I can have plenty of video room.
