“Microsoft tech support tells me that my operating system error could (doesn't have to, but could) be passed on via CD. It's a relatively easy fix - if you're tech savvy. I'm hugely sorry if I caused anyone to get error messages and computer freezes from the Half Dome CDs. If you're having a problem, please e-mail me and I will help you sort it out. If you're not having a problem, let me know so I can sleep at night.

WW, Poolman, and Jerbear - do you still want a Half Dome CD? The tech support guy tells me that I can now burn a CD without fear of passing on a problem because the problem is fixed, but I can understand if you feel wary......... Does anyone want to trade their maybe-contaminated CD for a most-likely-not contaminated CD?

Kudos to Microsoft tech support. After hours of effort to figure out and fix the problem, they reimbursed my measly $35 since it took so long. And the guys I talked to were smart and personable. I actually enjoyed the time I spent on the line with them.”

“Last year I tried to make sure everyone had the same number of photos, both of them and by them, in the DVD.
This year was a LOT easier. All the photos went into the Movie Maker with only a sequence number. So when it came time to edit out photos to make room, it was; "Which one is best here?".
