Camping Tips
I'm a probie to the Kettle in Wisconson and I'm looking for any tips, heads ups, concerns, ideas, pointers, etc. Don't know anything about North or South. I think the primitive sites are hard to come by, but that type of camping is preferred. Help!

I think it's probie not Probie. Of course Probe does come into play but only on weekends.

I'm not new here, I've just been hiding.

It's been a while since I checked, but last time, you needed reservations for the back country sites and the were, indeed, hard to come by. Try mid week.

Sites are hard to come by, as ChicagoMark said. You need advance reservations for the shelters, and I think camping is allowed only by/in the shelters. The northern unit is better than the southern, IMO. Its larger with more trails and more backcountry options.

Thanks
Thanks for the input. Although it doesn't sound like a great spot for camping the way things have panned out here. I'll take a look see and find out the hard way I suppose.
