Michigan's New 30 mile Backpackers Loop

“Hiking Michigan is currently in the process of building a 30 mile backpacking/hiking loop in southeastern Michigan. More specifically, in Ortonville. We are working along side of the Michigan DNR Park Administration in achieving this trail.

So far we have the trail roughly Mapped out and are in the process of getting it GPS plotted. We only have the last leg of the trail to confirm on the map.

This trail is going to be the first trail on State Property, and State Approved, which will allow Backwoods camping for backpackers only! No ATV's, No Horseback riders, No Mtn Bikers!
