So You Think You Can Dance

“We have been enjoying the Fox show, "So You Think You Can Dance." I got tickets for the Live Show at Universal City, CA in Sept. Any other fans out there?”

“I have to admit, I watch it with my wife and daughter occasionally (every week). Aren't Benji and Heidi cousins? Phil, who's your pick for the winning slot? My money is on Heidi.”

“Oh, by the way, if you were Cat Deely, and had a job with that much exposure, wouldn't you get that crooked nose straightened? I mean, they really can work wonders now.

“Hobbit - Heidi and Benji are cousins, dance partners, and Mormons. Benji went on his mission in Mexico and speaks fluent Spanish.

They have been dance partners since they were kids and have won the US West Coast Swing Dance Open many times. Benji's father and mother are dance champions.

I think Heidi, Benji, and Travis are the best dancers of the four left. I think either Benji or Travis will win. My favorite dancers personally are Heidi and Benji...but then I took West Coast Swing lessons for 4 years.

The winner will be the person who managed to motivate the most viewers to vote. They are looking for the "favorite" dancer, not the "best" dancer.

“Just got back from the Live Tour performance in Los Angeles in Universal City. Awesome show!! Lots of great repeat performances of the top dances as well as solos by each performer and some new routines correographed by the dancers themselves.

Saw three of the correographers while looking around: Tice, Brian, and Mia. They were real celebrities!!

Crowd loved the show. The dancers were also the MCs 90% of the time.”

“Well, season 4 is almost over. The top six dancers were all great. Final four are Katee, Joshua, Twitch and Courtney. Hard to say who will actually win, but Courtney (who is extremely hot, IMHO) has surprised a lot of people.

I predict Katee or Joshua, but Courtney could easily scoop up the votes from Courtney and Mark fans.

...or Twitch could win.

“Yeah, Twitch could win. He's not the best one, but he sure is likable. Joshua is really good, but maybe too raw to win. Courtney is an amazing dancer, but I think Katee has a slight edge. I predict Katee will win.

How do I get sucked into these shows anyway?”

“If you go by the theory of guessing where Chelsie and Mark's votes might go, I think a lot of those people would vote for Courtney.

It will be interesting! Dances next week should be hot! A guys Hip Hop and girls contemporary or jazz would be awesome.”

“The finale show was pretty good. Lots of great routines and performances. I didn't quite get the Scottish dance with all four.

Josh and Katee probably have the edge since they have never had a bad performance or been in the bottom group. They don't have quite the personalities of Twitch and Courtney, so that could be a factor. Hard to really say because you don't know where the Mark & Chelsie supporters might throw their votes, if anywhere.
