Anyone interested in doing the Gizzard this Fall/Winter? The BOSS & I are planning on doing this sometime after it cools down this year. It is the most gorgeous trail in Tennessee and thats saying something. We're thinkin a Saturday-Sunday itinerary. I know y'all have time for it cause there are very few trips planned in our neck of the woods. Who's in and what dates work for you? When we get some feedback, we'll put it on the trips page.

Hey Currahee. Hope that all is well with you and your family. Just let me know when and I will try to be there. Just about 18 miles from me anyway.

I have season tickets for the TN Vol home games again this year, so that is going to take up a lot of the fall weekends, but if it is on an off week or closer to winter then I will be there.

My crew has been wanting to do the through hike for some time. We did a weekender back in June near Foster Falls. Just a few little dayhikes. The rangers don't recommend the through hike from July-September due to lack of water, but we def want to do it this winter. We're doing Utah and Colorado in October, so a December hike here in TN would be nice. I'd love to meet some fellow TTer's. Lemme know if you're interested in having some guests along the trail.

Consider me interested. With the exception of Christmas weekend, I'm good with any of December or January.

I will watch for the trip to be posted. I have the kids every other weekend, but other than that, I don't have much of a reason to hang around the house anymore.

I will be coming home for a week or so in early December, so I may be interested in a weekend thing. Even if i dont get an overnighter in, I will probably be down that way to visit my brother, so I'd be up for a dayhike too.
