“I was at Gouldsboro state park a couple weeks ago. The lake has been drained and the place is like a ghost town. An occasional car would come in with a kayak or two on the roof, but they’d find the lake empty and drive away. There are a few trails there, which are mainly a woods and swamp walk, but the best part was the feeling of having an entire state park to myself.”
