“Awesome trip! I wouldn't personally be interested in 20 miles per day, but you had a great trip and that is what counts.

Nice pics and thanks for the gear list. So, what was your total packweight with food? 18 + 21 lbs? Did you miss not having drinks such as coffee, gatorade, etc?”

“I liked your picture looking down from Kaweah Gap. My first impression. Look, there is actually a trail there! When we were there last year, everything was covered in snow.”

“Total packweight (including hiking poles) was right at 38 pounds. Food was 18 of this + another almost 2 for the bear cannister. The clothes I wore (minus boots) another 1.5.

Overlooked the coffee. I took the folgers bags, two per day for breakfast...kind of a "double shot".

As to other drinks (Gatorade, etc.), I've taken these in the past, but didn't seem to miss them this time around.
