Ruby - Yes, we met at AAK. He and sonburn were standing up on a dune as the rest of us emerged from the woods and hiked to the lakeshore. It's been hell, ever since ;-)

Pekka - You and Reino are on the list, for sure. Right now, time is spent unpacking and organizing. And, jobs start next week (darn it!). But, you better believe we'll make a trip to Reinlander. And, hopefully, the two of you can come check out the new place in Marquette, too.

“Gremlin - Now that I've moved to da nort country, it is quite unlikely that I can attend FYAO in the ADKs (I'm talking 16+ hour drive...). However, there is a FYAO Yooper Style in the works for MLK weekend in Jan. How far are you from the Soo? We're about 2.5 hours west of that on the shores of Lake Superior. But, the trip will likely take place closer to the Soo and the bridge in order to accomodate travelers. Keep it in mind, eh?

We spent most of today cleaning, painting, organizing, etc... But, we did celebrate a bit this afternoon by enjoying a yummy beer and appetizer at a local brewery. Tonight, we're grilling out. Tomorrow, we'll start w/ a bike ride along the lakeshore then get back to more house stuff. NC's dad and youngest brother will be here in the early afternoon tomorrow to take me to dinner.
