GREAT Question....
If someone were to pay you ten cents for every kind word you ever spoke and collect five cents for every unkind word...

would you be rich or poor?

"Nine requisites for contented living: Health enough to make work a pleasure. Wealth enough to support your needs. Strength to battle with difficulties and overcome them. Grace enough to confess your sins and forsake them. Patience enough to toil until some good is accomplished. Charity enough to see some good in your neighbor. Love enough to move you to be useful and helpful to others. Faith enough to make real the things of God. Hope enough to remove all anxious fears concerning the future."

"I don't know quite what the purpose of the backgrounding was. She gave a background, she said what she said, and the way I read the memorandum is that it is basically what the responsibility of the NSC is and always has been ..."

"I happen not to know that she was going to write a memo, but that's true every day that somebody on the NSC writes a memorandum ... I mean I write memorandums that people don't know I'm writing until people receive it."

"I think you have to ask Condi that question."

"I said I don't know. Isn't that clear? You don't understand English? I was not there for the backgrounding."

The best things in life are nearest: Breath in your nostrils, light in your eyes, flowers at your feet, duties at your hand, the path of right just before you. Then do not grasp at the stars, but do life's plain, common work as it comes, certain that daily duties and daily bread are the sweetest things in life.

The news that Rush Limbaugh is a pill-popping junkie who violates federal law in order to satisfy his addiction to narcotics has hit America like a ton of bricks. I, for one, had never even considered the possibility that a racist, misogynistic, homophobic demagogue might be morally flawed.

Do not take thought for your persons or your properties, but first and chiefly to care about the greatest improvement of the soul. I tell you that the virtue is not given by money, but that from vitue come money and every other good of man, public as well as private... The difficulty, my friends, is not in avoiding death, but in avoiding unrighteousness; for that runs faster than death.

Now, mrschili just wakes up in the morning, strolls in and posts and gets a better impact.

Oh well, I guess the upside is that I have more time to plan out the trips.

It's not enough to have a dream, Unless you're willing to pursue it. It's not enough to know what's right, Unless you're strong enough to do it. It's not enough to learn the truth, Unless you also learn to live it. It's not enough to reach for love, Unless you care enough to give it Men who are resolved to find a way for themselves will always find opportunities enough; and if they do not find them, they will make them.

there's no reason
there's no compromise
change in seasons
living the high life
I don't know you
so don't freak on me
I can't control you
you're not my destiny

straight out of line
i can't find a reason
why i should justify my ways
straight out of line
i don't need a reason
you don't need to lie to me

i'll confess this you're my tradgety
i laid you to rest just
as fast as you turned on me
gone forever
vanished the memories
this face of pleasure
are masked by your misery

straight out of line
I can't find a reason
why i should justify my ways
straight out of line
I don't need a reason
you don't need to lie to me

lie to me

straight out of line
I can't find a reason
why I should justify my ways
straight out of line
I don't need a reason
you don't need to lie to me
