Verizon gave us a 3 month credit and dissolved our one year DSL contract, 1/06-1/07, with no penalty fee.

We are completely Verizon Free and it feels so good.

They were incompetent on every level and in every dept. the best part was a "tech" trying to reach us all day by calling our dry loop number.
