S.E. Michigan Kayakers

“For any in S.E. Michigan, I'm planning a short day-trip to Kensington Metro Park this weds.Oct.18th and will be Kayaking around on Kent Lake.

I'll arrive at the west boat launch around 9:00-9:30am and will paddle around until 12:00-1:00pm

The fall color should be excellent too!

“Sounds nice NCT. I have to keep an eye on the little one that morning, and get her on the bus at 1.”

“Maybe another time then, for sure? The sad part is this will be my first time on the water, this year. Seems like all I do anymore is work and sleep, work and sleep.

My last hiking trip was in May too, although, we are doing a 2 day/ NCT section hike, this coming weekend.”

“Definately. I want to get out to Humbug marsh on the Detroit River before it's too cold. If the weather is fine on Nov 4 it may happen. Drop me an email if you want to tag along and feel up to the 6mph current going upstream.”
