Well after a wondeful day of hiking and enjoying the wonderful outdoors in NE Ga I was heading back to WNC....I had inticipated stopping along to the way to take pics of the fall color...WELL I made it aprox four miles down the road and I heard a sound of metal under my hood and a loud shrill...my alternator belt broke!

I limped back to mom's and the hubby is on his way to rescue me!

Always and adventure huh?

Best of luck with that. At least it is a really easy fix.

Yeah..I know..it is just comical now! It ended up being the tension pully wheel something or other!!! So it is going to be picked up and taken to the mechanic today.

This is where it get's funny...we came back up Hwy 11 through SC because traffic was so bad in GA/NC..well we ran over something..never saw what it was (I think it was a reflector off the road came up) we pulled over, no damage to the car but today we woke up to a flat tire on the Trooper!

Gotta laugh!
