“What happened to Bush 41 after he said "READ MY LIPS, NO NEW TAXES!" He lied and went along with tax increases anyway. I'm no Clinton fan but he never pushed to raise my middle class taxes. Bush 43 with his runaway spending is increasing taxes for me and my children with his run up of the debt. The latter years of the Clinton administration we were actually starting to pay down the debt. They even turned off the debt clock for a while. Democrats are blamed for tax and spend and the irresponsible Republicans love to borrow and spend. Both are bad for the taxpayer in the end, but borrow and spend is far worse.”
