Shuttle from Hot Springs to Max Patch ne eded!

“Bluff Mountain Outfitters CANCELLED our shuttle, so I'm looking for a shuttle for 6 people on Friday 11.24.06 from Hot Springs to Max Patch. I'm paying the going rate.

“Here's an update on my shuttle locating success (or lack of). These were all suggestion off the numerous boards I haunt. You'll have to make up your own mine as to use them or not.

As I said at the top; after originally booking my shuttle, Bluff Mountain cancelled it. Said they didn't do Friday shuttles (what?).

'A Walk In The Woods', a shuttle I've used before, needed 2 cars to haul us and was too expensive, but they were available.

Standing Bear Farm never returned my call.

Paddler's Pub never returned my call.

Sunnybank Inn tried to refer me to Bluff Mountain. See above.

We shuttled ourselves and had a great week-end. I highly recommend Max Patch to Hot Springs route. However, can't recommend anything else.

“I've never had any trouble with shuttles I've set up with folks on the ATC list...and that's after 850 AT miles.

“I found it hard to believe that they didn't shuttle on Friday but that's what he said and it wasn't only THAT Friday. Maybe everyone in the shop was off that Friday and HE doesn't do shuttles and HE couldn't abandon the place for a shuttle.
