Is the passenger compartment's floor ever wet?

I had a prob like that before...the hoses or whatever that carried the antifreeze were rotting. If you raise up the hood to check it out after you've been driving it, I'd be very careful! One of my friends did that on my rotting-hose car, and some liquid shot right up at his face and missed his eyes by like an inch! That probably wouldn't have felt very good...

Finally something I do know. The problem with your truck is that it doesn't have one of these on the front...

Does that model S-10 have the TerraQuest? If so, that could be the problem....

Sounds like a hose may have a leak.
Cheap fix.

Might be a head gasket. Many $$$$$.

Get that truck to the shop if Mike will not look at it.

Heater connections or coils leaking if this is going on.

The Passenger compartment floor being wet could also be a clogged condensate drain.

clogged condensate drain - that happens about once every other year on our Saturn L-series. At least it has an easy fix. But doesn't sound like the problem here. Good to know for the future, though.

I was going to guess the disgronifier was out of sync. Thrifty do you use a #7 Flexer Wrench to get the proper torque?

True, but the 'sweet smell' wouldn't be there for SC.

One would think Mike, with all his knowledge about how to soup up cars, would take a look.

LOL
I know, I'm the devil for suggesting this.
