“Watch the faces of the judges as this guy walks out on the stage. You can almost see what their thinking as they pre-judge him based on his looks and the fact that he's a cell phone salesman. Pay attention to the audience as well.

Maybe this guy stopped believing in what people told him for so many years and ultimately started listening to his passion. If one takes but one thing away from his appearance, it should be to never judge a book by its cover.

“So a few friends and I put together a little short film called "Gone In A Flash." We created it for a contest hosted by Fox Searchlight, HP, and YouTube. About 1,230 videos were submitted, and ours has made it to the top 20! Now, it's up to the voters... So I definitely need all the help I can get!

Right now, my short is the number 1 featured video in the "Film & Animation" category of YouTube, which is very unexpected and very awesome. And if your votes help me win this competition, "Gone in a Flash" will be entered at the Sundance Film Festival this January!
