Unfortunately, while they seem to be extremly populare over there in the colonies, they don't seem to be available here

might have to pay a couple pounds extra, but i bet ole henry might be willing to ship overseas

I am certainly not getting out as much as I wish :-) Every summer a couple of day trips here in the mountains, or even on overnight at a hut. Every winter I do a couple of walks too and maybe a week snowboarding.
I spent most of my vacation doing walking and camping holidays. Last one was in the Great Smokey Mountains. Next one planned for May, the West Highland Way in Scotland.

The slugs, well...Which reminds me I had escargot a couple of times. Not the SAS hooligan style though. You may find these in a well stocked supermarket in the delicatessen section.

North Face Dyad 22
The North Face Dyad 22 comes in at 2lbs 11oz trail weight. I've read good reviews, and one that even mentioned my concern, condensation; apparently it WASN'T a problem in this tent at all; good venting. I've also looked at the North Face Solo 12, maybe a little too small for me, but it's trail weight is only 2lbs 2oz, making it something to consider.

Anyone have either of these tents? I have looked at a LOT of tents over the last month, and so far this one is my favorite.

Lunar Duo
That is a pretty interesting tent. Definetly light weight, I'd add the extra 4 oz and go with the standard floor. I'd say the only drawbacks would be all the mesh and very little bathtub floor. Bound to be a problem in cold and/or windy weather. I'd also worry about rain, flooding etc with that floor. Let me know if you buy it, what your experiences with it are.

I have the SixMoon Europa and in a twelve hour rain it stayed dry as a powder house.....except for the condensation.
