I took my daughter Christmas shopping today. Keeping up with a 12 y/o under normal circumstances is a real workout. Doing it with a broken leg is like running a marathon.

At least a half dozen times, I had to say "slow down". She just looked at me like I was an invalid.

Geez, I'm tired, but days like this are absolutely priceless.

I could have worn a bandana and been the first member of the TT branch of Hell's Angels.

"She just looked at me like I was an invalid."

Dude, you are an invalid.

Not that I would want to damage your validation or anything.

Gee, thanks, MarkO.

I needed a dose of reality this morning.
