AT March 2008

“Hello All!
Well this is just a 'feeler' to see how many people are thinking about an AT hike for 08'. I am going to be hiking as far as possible -- hopefully at least back to NJ -- to help raise money for a big national charity (www.rebuildingtogether.org).

Since I'm hiking for charity, I'm soliciting a number of gear companies to donate gear/discounts to help facilitate the hike. I don't have any solid confirmations yet (but lots of very interested people)...I'll spread around the gear as best I can :)

Anyway, if anyone is thinking about the AT and wants to join a small group, I'd love to hear from you. If you are seriously interested and want to raise money, I can send you the press kits.

I realize that this is over a year away, but the sponsor/charity angle requires a little bit of planning.
