“I had my run in with Natchex Trace- doing 60 in a 40 on the Rt96 overpass bridge. I explained to the judge that my car was bearing 500# of weight over the normal and my compact Echo just picked up more speed on the downhill coming to the bridge. He took one look at my former bf and believed me (I think) then reduced the fine as a good cit with a clean driving history.”

“For those who may or might be in the neighborhood during the last weekend of this month, it is time for our annual Fall Festival in Townsend. Plenty of bluegrass and usually some pretty fair food.

The Lone Tones are playing Friday the 28th and they are worth stopping to listen to.”

“Every year, we have our assortment of 4-wheelers and tractors in the parade. That involves about 60% of the locals.

This year we had the big addition of riding lawnmowers and golf carts in the parade also. That meant about 90% of the locals could participate.

The remaining 10% and all the out of town guests just watched.”
