Now now boys. Behave. Can't you post without making personal attacks? Come on MarkO, XL, Stoveguy, Moonwhoever.

You know, supposedly, what you say says more about you than the person you aim your comments at. Those mental illness remarks seem to come up a lot. Hmmm.

How many "nuclear" families have you busted, XL?
Did having children to raise curb your selfishness?

I'm just returning the serve, Prince Charles.

I've been pilloried by these clowns for making less income than my wife(of 25 years).
Obviously that fact does not embarrass me no matter how many times Mr. Sweetness(not a reference to sexual preference) repeats it.
He's trying to make me feel bad about it.......hardly a charitable effort.

"Those mental illness remarks seem to come up a lot. Hmmm."

Have you read some of the insane commentary from Mr. XLax?

I believe I have grounds to treat the witness as hostile.

MarkO doesn't have a mental illness.
He's just kinda dim and very intolerant.
LOL

I don't know anyone who wants the "hammock of Government".
Maybe I don't run in the right circles to see any of that

I don't mean to sound offensive, and I don't know what your occupation is Mark, but I'm guessing you're right about not running in the right circles. There are most definitely lazy people out there perfectly happy to collect a welfare check without ever trying to help themselves. They may not be a majority, but they're out there.

Quite a few Mr. BEEYOTCH...(LOL). But then I don't cry myself silly at every sob story I hear, I look at the decisions (both bad and good) that people make. I someone has been having a couple of Litters and they decide to let the GUVMENT raise them...LOL I don't see that as heroic.

Hey having a spouse who makes more than you is not a big bad thing.....I am sure you are proud of what you do....sorry I forgot what exactly DO you do?

Stick - so you missed the LA Riots (and hilarious aftermath) and the Katrina effects in nuzzle to the Teet, Lousianna.

An opinion by Gene Doane.

Before the Hurricane, few in America outside of New Orleans knew about the now infamous "Ninth Ward", a community (using the term loosely) of some 20,000 individuals who could not read, could not write, lived in squalor so bad that getting evacuated improved their living conditions to the best they’d ever known, and SOMEBODY had dumped them all in "The Bowl" as the section of New Orleans most prone to flooding is known.

The Governor of Louisiana is a Democrat. The Mayor of New Orleans is a Democrat. Republicans hold almost NO POWER within a hundred miles of The Crescent City, so WHO DUMPED THE POOR IN "THE BOWL"?? Obviously the Mayor knew the poor were in "The Bowl", after all he sent buses in there for his last election! And after they voted, he bused them back into "THE BOWL".

And back they went. Dutifully voted for the guy they were told to vote for, got on the bus, and dutifully went back into "THE BOWL". Why go back? Once out of the bowl, why go back?

It’s death by dependency. I saw it years ago during the L.A. Riots and I’ll never forget it... a Los Angeles Post Office was destroyed in the riots and a weeping woman was asking where she’d get her money if the mail didn’t come. She believed that her living came from the mailman. She was actually distraught over missing out on some Government Love headed her way and she looked pathetic begging for a new place to go get some checks at. She was not free, she did not know freedom and when the Post Office, her gilded cage, was no longer in service she cried.

The Ninth Ward of New Orleans was a gilded cage. A cage built in the name of kindness that turned into just another cage, just another failure of good intentions misguided and a sterling example of the Law of Unintended Consequences which plagues liberalism.

Infamous Bank Robber Willie Horton, when asked why he robbed banks, said "Because that’s where the money is." It’s a simple answer, a plain answer and one full of common sense.

So why did Welfare Dependency cases live in "The Bowl"? Willie Horton said it. That’s where the money is. In the movie "Million Dollar Baby", the daughter of a Welfare Queen makes good money, and buys her mother a house. Outright. Buys her a house, and the Welfare Queen mother is HORRIFIED by the idea that when the Welfare Folks find out she owns a HOUSE that she’s going to get "her" checks cut off.

A gilded cage is still a cage. The now-infamous Ninth Ward is just such a gilded cage. Be a good poor person, live in a slum and qualify for some deadly kindness and above all, when a Democrat sends a bus by to pick up the slum denizens, it’s only for a voter, not because they cared.

Amazingly, the Democrats, who fully OWN Louisiana and have for decades, in looking for a scapegoat to explain why there’s 20,000 poor, illiterate castaway people stashed in the most flood-prone area of the Big Easy, they blame the nearest Republican they can find. Even if he’s a thousand miles away. W. Bush has been in office less than 2000 days, and either he’s innocent of this crime against humanity or he’s been rounding up 10 poor people a day and throwing them in "The Bowl" undetected by anyone. This is a travesty of liberalism, proof that liberalism does not work, and proof that it’s cruel to be kind.

Boy? lmao!

Finals? No final tests need to be taken this time around. My full semesters work (plus extra credit) has been on file with all three professors for two weeks now and I have already been verbally issued my grade.

Thanks for your concern.
