We got a bunch of the burned here at the Burn unit today.....if there is anyone with family that ended up here...let me know. I will do what I can for them.

Looks like we got some from a house fire in Mississippi too.

“I was in a barracks right after the Marine Barracks was bombed in Lebanon in the 1980's and one night a lightning bolt hit a power transformer and it went KABLOOEY...blew windows out knocked guy out of their bunks....

I am trying to find out how many burn victims their were. The St. Marys burn center (Columbia/St. Marys now?) in town was highly regarded, Were there so many that some had to be sent elsewhere?”

Additionally, my son will be a freshman at UT next fall and for the first time in 10 years, he would be close by, full time.

However, this is a career move kind of thing if it pans out. I will have to mull it over very carefully if I get the offer.”

“Chili, it gets worse than that, much worse. Last year was -30 without the windchill a couple of times. When I was a kid , -40 wasn't unusual and I remember -50. The good news? -40 keeps out the rif-raf:)”
