Big Agnes Sleeping Pads

“Definitely one of the more comfortable pads out there. Not as convenient since you must blow it up yourself, but I know I'm willing to spend 5 minutes blowing it up when I'm going to be laying on it for 8+ hours.”

“I got one for $5 at the REI scratch and dent sale. It had a seam blown out in about a 2 inch area. I thought I'd try to glue it back together, but then I saw that the seam wasn't glued, it was fused. I got out my iron for putting wax on skiis, and started at a low temperature and gradually eased it up till it melted it together. I slept on it one night and the seam held, so I got lucky. Its kind of narrow, but it will fit in my wife's Big Anges bag nicely, and is very compact. Score!”
