“i have decided i hate living in the city/suburbs. it's the traffic i mostly hate. i would do just about anything to get out. chicagoland has gotten progressively worse over the past 10 years. i am in a job where i have to drive almost every day and i can honestly say that i believe the traffic thing will have taken years off my life... if i survive because of all the crazy drivers.”

“My little section is not so bad but as I've stated before I drive through cow country to get in to the outer burbs for work.

My favorite is how people here speed around each other trying to "win". A major road I drive in off hours has partially timed lights. 50-55 and your golden. It gets clogged up every morning by people who feel a need to go faster than the other guy. DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?? In Detroit there's an unwritten rule. On 8 mile and Telegraph you drive 50. That way almost nobody has to stop for a light for miles and miles.

To deal with real suburban Chicago traffic every day would be a nightmare. Jimmysan, move your family out my way :-) I need some adventurous neighbors.”
