outdoor theme wedding rings
I cringe at posting this as I can only imagine the play all will have at my expense. Alas, my partner and I are looking for non-traditional wedding rings that are more meaningful to who we are. If you have ideas or suggestions with a hiking, moutaineering or climbing theme, we would appreciate it.

that's not a bad idea ductape. i have a friend and his wife that got TI wedding rings and they are actually quite nice, but they had to really LOOK for a jewler that knew how to work with the metal.

That's neat. Mine doesn't have mountains carved into it. It's just a titanium band. I got it cause it was so much lighter than gold.

Mine is a Ti band and I love it. Light weight and I feel better with the added strength around all the heavey equipment here at Deere. Also I did alot of research and the myth of hospitals not being able to cut the band simply isn't true. It just might take 5-10 seconds longer.

Our rings are made of gold and diamond - completely natural substances!

LOL...what would not be a NATURAL substance...I mean from a molecular level...is there something we created out of NOTHING????

Thats like imitation vinyl.

Try asking around to find a local jeweler who does custom work - then you can use your imagination & work with the jeweler to create something with a unique design that has meaning for the two of you.

If you like the Southwest, turquoise and silver wedding rings would be appropriate. Several of my family members wear those (I'm originally from NM).

i have a Ti band...i love it..but it does mar easily...and can't be repolished...or so they told me. Also can't be Inscribed or so they told me again, and can't be resized..but since it's just a recycled airplane bushing...you can get another one for about 50 bucks.

Any of you guys bounce yours on purpose? They will bounce higher than a super ball!!!!

Ti rings are tricky because Ti work hardens instantly. It's very possible to have your Ti rings crack into pieces without even trying to harm them. It doesn't polish by typical jewelry methods. It can, however, get a protective anodized coating on it in a variety of colors.
