Meet Your New U.N. Secretary-General
Ban Ki-moon sworn in as U.N. secretary-general

(Christmas came early for XL)

UNITED NATIONS (AP) -- South Korea's Ban Ki-moon was sworn in Thursday as the eighth secretary-general of the United Nations, promising to make his top priority the restoration of trust in the world body that has been tarnished by corruption scandals.

Ban, 62, will take the reins of the United Nations on January 1 when Kofi Annan steps down after 10 years at the helm. He will be the first Asian to lead the organization in 35 years

Or, how socialists love terrorists and they want America to fail causing rivers to run backwards, cats sleeping with dogs, schit of real babblical proportions.

Then Monnglo might chime in about how if only the U.N. would reach out to Jezuz everything would come up smellin' like roses.

Dems or Repubs . . . most of them are self-centered freaks.

I gave up all affiliation with them. You all should, too. Reason: They mainly serve to divide this nation - you're either a liberal or a conservative. If you claim to be a moderate, someone will be waiting to find something you say or do to clssify you as either liberal-leaning moderate or a conservative-leaning moderate.

Just look at this thread . . .

We need to eliminate political parties and get back to the basics of our Constitution, while we still have one . . .

Indeed. We are getting ripe for a revolution.

I think what might tip the scales is serious anti-Constitutional gun control laws that the next President (a Dem) will pass, under influence from the UN. That is my prediction.

The Karl Rove machine has already killed several our rights . . .

Revolution calling! Revolution calling! Revolution calling you! ;)

Sweet! A Queensryche fan!

I have heard interviews with one ex-general who spent some 38 years in the inner rings of the Pentagon and was pretty high in the spook chain and he has said there are already UN troops training in the US. He also said the department that has more power than any governmental entity is FEMA. Those are the peckerheads to fear.

Yes, a fond farewell to Dr. Do-Little. In honor of your departure (please refrain from allowing the door to contact your posterior upon exiting) I will be lighting a candle to burn while I remember all of your great accomplishments. It's a birthday candle......a really small one.

"Sweet! A Queensryche fan!"

They just strolled through Detroit. The docket included a full run through of Operation Mine Crime I and II.

Never listened to II; however, I have wasted many a good hour one I.

It's good. They go a little political which is pretty clique` any more but it's a good continuation of the original story line.
