I like my new Digital SLR

“Nikon D50

Left for a 7 day cruise with some friends last Friday, and last Tuesday while I was in Mexico City decided I needed a new camera. Ended up ordering a D50 from Onecall but becase of their credit/shipping policy I couldn't ship it to work so I ended up stopping at the Best Buy near my house after I returned to the states. Because have the 18-55mm Kit Nikkor DX Kit lens (didn't really want it but no other way to get the camera on such short notice) and ended up buying the 50mm f1.8 prime at the local camera shop to go with it. Love it so far. One of my friends I was going on the cruise with happened to have a Sigma 70-300mm telephoto lens for Nikon and he brought it along for me to use. Here are some sample pictures.
