Snow Camping the Old Fashioned Way

Spending a week in this old cabin with my family after Christmas. There is aready some snow there and we are hoping for more!!!

We'll be thinking about you all while we're roughing it :)

WindWalker - I had the opportunity to buy an A-frame cabin just like that in Big Bear around 1977 for $17,000. It was a good deal even in 1977. I always regreted passing that up.

That A-frame looks in better shape than this 1930 farmhouse I'm living in. When the furnace kicks in it brings me back to my shipboard days when they would fire the boilers so we could get underway. The whole place just shakes. Lots of work to do this coming year.
