“All you have to do is find the Kistler memorial Highway (Dirt Road) and keep going til you find the labled trailhead.I plan to be there around 5 pm. I drive a white Chev 2500 with Harrison Pallet Services on the side it will be very noticable.”

“since its a 9 hour drive for me, according to mapquest, i believe i'll leave early thursday evening, and plan on getting as far as south kentucky, then getting to the gorge sometime early friday afternoon. i'd like to have some time to hike friday”

Linville is covered in snow as we speak and supposed to get another dose tonight!”

“Wind and snow these past 6 hours at Linville Gorge (which I can see out the window to my left) with an intense Alberta Clipper passing thru.

Such fronts usually do not drop snow here just South of the mountains but some intense snow squalls have fallen even here so I imagine the Linville Falls area will receive a half foot or more of snow this evening.
