“Bama you will probably know the best answer to this question but what are the names of the local newspapers around Double Springs, AL? I still haven't found my ring so I'm going to post an ad in the classified section and offer a reward for my ring. I also called a local pawn shop in Haleyville and the guy I talked to told me to call the police department because all the pawn shops are required to turn in a list to the police department every week of all of the items that they have received. He said however because the restrictions are so strict to pawn items that most people don't do that anymore and instead they try selling stollen items at flea markets. I'm just hoping and praying that whoever found my ring is honest and I will be able to recover it!”

“Thanks stovestomper but i'm wanting a paper a little closer to double springs. cullman is a good 30 miles away and hartselle is even further. i posted an ad in the moulton paper but i'm thinking double springs has to have their own newspaper? they have a police department.”

“Uhm, Townsend has a police dept, but there isn't much a chance we will get a paper anytime soon.

Is there some connection between cops and papers that I don't know? I bet they sell donuts there however.

“Sorry for the delay Mrs Opie I've been really busy latly and ain't checked the boards. I don't know of a paper in Double springs. The closest ones I know of is the Moulton Advertiser. It comes out once a week. Franklin County Times is out of Russellville and comes out Daily, Also the Decatur Daily in Decatur. Another would be the Anniston Star. Moulton would be the closest.
