Crash, I used to really not like Lila Garrity. Now, after she's been shunned forever and is soooo sad, I'm actually feeling sorry for her. Makes me think it's a good show, that it's been able to make me change my mind.

Seems like a good depiction of a school where football is the end all and everything -- and the coach and his family. The upstart quarterback having to take care of his grandmother (with a bit of dementia and embarassed to death about her) because his dad is in Iraq is a nice touch.

And it has a few funny moments here and there, but ya gotta watch. There's no laugh track.

It just rings true for the most part.”

“It's about high school football -- which is played on Friday nights. Just a name, NoProb. There was a movie of the same name. Heck, our local TV channel calls its sports show following the 10 p.m. news on Friday "Friday Night Lights."”
