“Looks like the trail will be the Canal Loop Trail. @14 miles in entire length but you can do as short as three miles by using the connector trails.”

“Hey Guys! I want to apologize for not having final details for you yet. After tax season and three TT trips I haven't had time to scout out the "perfect" campsite yet. The one I have in mind for Saturday night may not hold all of us so I have to find an alternate.

On Friday night we will meet at a drive up camp site in the North end of LBL complete with scenic views and beach access. Then we'll head up to the North Welcome Station on Saturday morning to pick up any late arrivals.

I will have final details posted on Monday. Don't bail on me!”

“O.K. guys, I went scouting today and made some final trip decisions. (see the updated trip page) I hiked through three nice lake access areas. Moss Creek was so beautiful that I had to include it on our trip.

My trips thus far this year have been rather easy. I wanted to up the miles a little bit and not rely on car camping. Plus, with two swimming spots on the trail we'll have ample opportunity to cool off in the hot weather. Saturday nights campsite is right on the lake with access to our own private beach.

The beer run is tentatively scheduled for Saturday night. If we did it on Friday, I wouldn't be able to get any miles out of yall. :).
