More I hope in 2008” 3:05:26 PM 1/01/08 “37 bag nights for 2007” 7:15:43 PM 1/01/08 “117 - didn't add many after august.” 7:36:43 PM 1/01/08 “Ended with 45 last two in my sisters back yard. Hey!Hey! The Wilds of Staten Island can be brutal in December.” 5:14:33 AM 1/02/08 “Slept outside every day from Mid March till December 20, except 2 nights in which I slept in an appartment in Oregon. 265 nights in a bag for me!” 9:09:55 AM 1/02/08 “2” 1:52:11 PM 1/02/08 “ Nice going, folks.” 8:57:02 PM 1/09/08 “Not to be picky but should "some" people get extra credit if they were hiking "in the family way"? I mean after all they were hiking for two more or less......” 5:04:59 AM 1/10/08 “XL400236 - Are you proposing sexual discrimination or just opening a can of worms? "in the family way" is an euphemism for "pregnant."” 5:40:03 AM 1/10/08 “In adddition, "Bag Nights" are not awarded for "hiking." Er, you're not announcing something, are you? LOL.” 5:58:01 AM 1/10/08 “Unfortunately 2007 was a bad year for us without many bag nights. We moved twice (long story), I got pregnant and had a miscarriage that was physically difficult - right in prime hiking time and had a lot of work on my plate as well. I think in all we only had about 20 bag nights compared to almost 90 the year before.” 6:01:14 AM 1/10/08 “I ended up with 19 in 2007 even though I was unable to hike for 4 months due to torn ligements in my ankle. I am hoping for double the bag nights in 2008.” 11:32:12 AM 1/28/08 “I fell last Monday and I think I broke my azz. Literally. Had to cancel 3 nights and had cut one trip short already. Great start to 2008. I hope it changes.” 4:08:20 PM 1/29/08 “patsquach - Sorry to hear about your fall. I hope there is nothing seriously damaged. Usually, I take several, potentially damaging falls each trip. So far, I have been lucky. I laugh, since I know that most people my age, (75), would break bones, if they fell. My martial arts training, in which I still participate, has included falls and rolls and even taking slams to the mat. So far this training has helped me to avoid anything serious happening on these falls along the trails and in the camping areas. Good luck on healing promptly. My bruises do take a while to disappear.” 4:22:44 PM 1/29/08 “getting older means skin thinning out....i bumped something last month with the back of my hand and ended up with a cut...I was like WTF?” 4:29:07 PM 1/29/08 Jump to Page << prev
