What's everyone's favorite? I bought some Ice Breaker boxers and a trail shirt. They are suppose to be odor proof and wick moisture really well. Ice Breaker also has some socks that I'm looking into.

Ice Breaker (New Zealand) make kicka$$ merino wool products. I got a shirt as a gift, but can't afford to buy their stuff.

I use Ultimax sock liners and wool socks from MEC.

I go to the Dickey's outlet store. Poly socks are two bucks a pair. They have been as good as anything else I have used.

Thorlos synthetics. They rock.

I have been using SmartWools for several years, but the last couple of years I have started getting more and more heel blisters. So I am going to try using a sock liner under them - I've heard lots of people swear by this system, so I'm going to try it.....

Merino wool with a synthetic liner. Brand doesn't matter to me. I get whatever is on sale. The CostCo Merino Wool winter socks they sell once per year are awesome and damn cheap... I learned about them from TT!

I'm with Jimmy san on this one. Wool outside, poly inside.

Tip - For those of you with sensitive tootsies, wear the liners inside-out. No seams against the skin. Less chance for blistering.

Smartwools mainly, but at Gander Mountain I found a Columbia sock that is identical to the Smartwool as far as I can tell. Same color, everything. A little cheaper, so I picked up a couple of pair.

Stay away from Underarmour socks. I was issued some at work and they are way too tight on the calf, and not because I have big legs. I have skinny legs. Skinny body period, hence getting stuck with the nickname Stickman.

I wear smartwool, and once in a while I wear UA sock liners. They're only ankle high, so I woudn't know about the leg tightness. They fit OK to me. I wear the liners mostly in the winter.

ingenuis have a kinda liner built in...looks like a diamond shapped crisscross of diff material (liner material) alone the inside of the sock...they have low cut thinner ones for trail runners and thicker ones for boots...very nice
