I'm back! My father-in-law just moved the computer in the othe room so I can get in there.

Unfortonately the doctor had to remove my right knee (October) for now. Once I get 100% better I should get another good knee again. Right now I can't walk...just a wheellchair. Then two days later I got a mild Stroke. It took a few days to remember my family's names again. I'm better than a was, but I still have a tough time speaking and this is the first time I've tried to type. It's a tough time than I thought!

As you can see, I have a long way to go until I'm 100% better again.

Thanks for everyone!
Hikin Mike

HI mike! Welcome back! I'm Pamela, I'm new to you, but I've been praying for you since I heard a few days back. My husband had a stroke 3 1/2 years ago, so I sorta know what that parts like. I pray that you recover quickly and fully. I like your website.

God Bless ya real well!

Welcome back. There are a few new hotties on the atonement thread but other than that, nothing really good to look at here.

Thank you everybody! I'd like to respond to everyone, but it takes too much for me right now. It took my five minutes yesterday to sound out "wheelchair" so I could type it.

Looks like I will be a few years until I can hike again. I haven't been able to even get into a car yet...hopefully I can go there soon.

Thanks again! :notworthy:

Hey, Mike, I'm so happy to see you posting here again. Thanks to your father-in-law for re-connecting you to us. Thanks to you for hanging in when times are hard. Posting on TT sounds like good physical and occupational therapy. And all of us here will do our best to raise your spirits.

I talked to him recently. He is getting much better. He is anxious for them to finish his knee replacement in April as he is "knee-less" right now. Sucks huh? He isn't on email and the web too much as he is working on his typing and spelling skills after the stroke. It can get pretty frustrating re-learning everything and being slow at things where one used to be fast. Maybe he'll drop us a line here soon.

Good news --- Thanks Pixie.

I had to learn to walk again, years ago, after a run-in with an automobile. That was hard enough. I can't imagine what it must be like after a stroke.

Give 'em hell, Mike!
