I'm changing the bar to a Euro type(lower, shorter pull-back) and installing a plastic bullet fairing.

This bike handles very nice with the low center of gravity.

When I ran out of gas the reserve function did not work.
I discovered that the gas cap gasket was in at least three pieces and I think a piece settled in the lowest part of the tank blocking the reserve port.

It was pretty much a just change the fluids and plugs and fire it up.

Tires are AVON Road Riders, V-rated(150 mph).
It tops out at 108 mph...............a little overkill.

That is according to the specifications and I suppose that is red line.
A motorcycle like that is not very stable above 100 and that is the nature of the beast.

“When I was younger I had a bike (Honda 1100 V-65 Magna, with a few modifications) that would go 0-60 in less than 3 seconds, and I had it up to 155mph. Once I had it 135 with my wife on the back.

Now I have a bike that may top out at 115 if I am going downhill with a tail-wind. I look back at some of the things I did when I was younger and "invincible" and wonder how I am still alive.”

I started with the V-45 Sabre. I rode it for a few years, then traded it in for the 1100 Magna. I would like to find another V-45 to toy around with.
