“Heroes and Jericho are my 2 favs this year. I agree Harman, its been a few years since I got excited about a TV show. I've gotten burned out Law & Order (SVU, ABCDEFG) reruns because there has so often been nutin' on the boob tube.

So who thinks cheerleader girl (name?) will end up turning on her adoptive father some time soon, ripping him limb-from-limb in a fit or rage from some new evil plot?”

Why does the politician who can fly have such a hard time accepting that Isaac can paint the future, Hiro can teleport, etc... After you find out you can fly around, is there really a whole lot that you'd find surprising?”

Good point ductape, if I suddenly discovered I could fly I think accepting other's abilities would be a given. Oh well, one weak point in an otherwise well-written/acted show.

SS - They were smart, they put people in to draw in an audience of all types. Different ages, colors, sexes, etc. I'm sure some of the older characters are annoying to the younger crowd that tunes in.”

SciFi Channel has eps 12, Godsend, set to run on Jan 26th at 7:00.

The SciFi Channel looks like they may not keep repeating Heroes in the future.

“300 is based on the comic book mini-series of the same name, which was was written by frank miller of "sin city" fame. not sure of millers involvement in the movie, however. looks like a goodie”

“JUST got a call from Headquarters.....one of the older support members of the department (he is 84 exactly 40 years older than me) was rushed into the hospital with Heart Problems.

Just a little about a true hero. This guy was a Combat Engineer in the Second World War. Anyone who studies the Battle of the Bulge will remember that Col Peipers SS Panzer had to cross certain bridges to penetrate into our lines. If they had succeeded they would have made a major breakout. As it was a small group of Combat Engineers stopped him (earning them the name "Those Damned Engineers)....my friend was one of those heroes. Upon his return from 3 horrible years of war he created an elevator company that was later bought out by Montgomery or Shindler in New Jersey. At the age when most people retire, Ray moved to Georgia became active in a support role for our Fire Department, worked to help others and really made a difference.....I am going to visit right now, but just needed some prayers....he drove HIMSELF (typical tough guy) to the hospital with Chest Pains...was rushed to the CCU hospital and is in serious condition.”

Well here is the story. The left Coronary Artery is totally blocked, the good news is the Right artery does about 90% of the work anyway. The Doc said he is certain we can get Ray back to full steam in a couple of months...then I explained Ray is more active than ME. The Doc asked if he smokes.....(okay we share cigars OCCASIONALLY) he doesn't the doc said he is in excellent shape.

Oh Crash...I did edit out "Deep Penetration" and Swollen Protusion..for your benefit...Was I wrong? (LOL)

“Yeah, that was an awesome episode. One of the best I do believe. Finally! Peter uses his powers! Gotta agree with crash, there is a lot of play with the Nikki character and the storyline. We'll see how good it turns out.
