I go there briefly in Feb.”

“In which state, Pedxing? If Michigan, what dates will you be there? I'm close enough to meet a TTer there.”

“Yeah Michigan - I shoulda specified. I've got some meetings Friday to work on a national fund raising plan for an organization I'm a volunteer for, but it looks like I'll stay the night Friday (probably Thursday, too, but getting in 'round midnight).

Anyhow, it would be great if schedules worked and I could meet up with you and any body else nearby who was interested.

“I just made reservations will arrive too late for anything on 2/15 - need to leave early on 2/17. I need to work out meeting schedule with others and will post. We are developing a national plan for walks and runs for the Phoenix Society based on the walk I organized this Fall and a group that participated in Cincinatti's "Flying Pig Marathon." Grand Rapids is the national HQ for the Phoenix Society. Two of us are flying in from Boston and two from Cincinatti to meet with a couple people in the central office.

I can't bend my right knee very well and driving from the hip is okay for around here and quick errands but Grand Rapids is two and a half hours away, in good traffic and weather. It's about 4.5 hours which isn't outside of my range but this is the last weekend I'll be able to backpack for a while so I'll be out hiking this weekend. Now if ya all were backpacking...”
