My heart goes out to you and your family. You have my love and my prayers. Life, and death for that matter, has a way of showing us just how strong we are.

Tell me about this bone marrow transplant. Do you have a donor? How do they find a match?

Don't forget my e-mail address: pooh@up.net

Hang in there, sweetie!

Warm hugs and best wishes.

I am so sorry to hear of this Craig. Why do such things happen to such good people ? You're in my thoughts friend. Stay strong... there are brighter days ahead.

Stopped on a Dime
Very sorry for the loss of your son and for your diagnosis. Unimaginable. Man, don't know what to say.

I suppose this is going to be the longest hike you'll probably ever face. You have my hope for renewal. You have my prayers for what they're worth. May our Father's peace be with you.

Folks, about Le Subtil's advice:

I am very sorry to hear about all you have gone through and continue to go through, Craig. Try to remain strong and keep the faith. It is at times like these that we tend to question and demand answers that rarely come in the form of words. I hope your soul can find the peace it needs to get you through the time ahead. You are in my thoughts and cared for deeply.

OH my LS...if there is anything I can do...well I know one thing...I am going to get tested this week for a bone marrow match.

WOW..you know LS one of the toughtest jobs I have had is to tell parents the bad news. All I can say is how proud I am of the organ donation decision.

Seriously LS..anything send me an email, ANYTHING if you need a place to recuperate I have a farm out by the lake...its yours if you need it...nice area, quiet...you name it.

Craig, what a rough road you have been walking these past weeks...
I am so sorry to hear all of this.

No words come to me that seem adequate to express my condolences. I will simply say you and your family are in my thoughts.

You've taken some hard hits. I wish you well and I'll be sending you positive energy...

Le Subtil, it's painful to read about your tough times. You're one of my favorite old TTers I've never met, and I'm praying for you to be strong and see better days. I figure you to be the kind of guy that recognizes good things when they come along. May the good things in your life give you strength to deal with the bad.

Grace & peace

Thanks for everything folks.
I had my first chemo treatment yesterday. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. All the new prescriptions seem to be doing a number on me tho.
It nice & sunny but cold here. I hope to get out to the cemetary to visit and walk a little. I'm having trouble having missed the funeral.

le Subtil - I don't know if you're a person of faith, but I added your family to my churches and my personal prayer list. Though we've never met, I've thought about yall lots this week. I imagine you're also dealing with guilt over the funeral. While it doesn't seem so now, you were where you needed to be that day. You have to get strong(physically) again for your family and that's where you needed to be on that day. Lots of us here have never walked in your shoes so we can't really offer advice, but just know we empathize and are here for you in spirit.
